Price Update (10/2/12)

The Masters Edition drafts ended this past Wednesday, and while MED prices did drop quite a bit (they did drop to their lowest values in recent history), they have been rebounding quite fast. The MED drafts and sealed were not that popular, so not as many copies entered the card pool as did when other retro formats were offered. Buy your copies, while they are still cheap!

In other news, the price of Benevolent Unicorn is skyrocketing. I'm sure this has to do with the fact that Electrickery was introduced to the format, along with Grapeshot still being a thing. In the last month, it has gone from 0.55 tix (immediately after the Mirage drafts ended) to 2.45 tix, which is its highest price recorded in my data! If you are a fan of white, you may want to pick some of these up now before they go much higher. Since Mirage was just drafted, it may be a while before WoTC brings it back.

On the other end of the spectrum, the price of Crimson Acolyte has slowly been dropping in price since the summer, and is now at its lowest price recorded in my data. Keep an eye on this one. If you are looking to pick up a play set, now may be the time!
